Rumorfix mentioned on their website today that Bethenny has signed to do a new talk show.

Our staff has learned the star of Bethenny Ever After has just signed a deal with Telepictures, which is the production company behind The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Tyra, Lopez Tonight and Anderson.

That one sentence pretty much sums it up. Looks like we’ll be seeing more of Bethenny in the future. Not sure how this impacts Bethenny Ever After. But I did notice Bethenny mentioned to the press a couple days ago that she doesn’t expect her Bravo show to go on forever. I took this to mean, she made a lot of money from the Skinny Girl Margarita sale. And she doesn’t have to work. So why mess with all the drama of a reality TV show? But what she was probably implying is that she won’t be on Bravo forever because she has bigger fish to fry.

It’s a bit of a gamble to enter the talk show circuit. Many try, many fail. But if anyone can pull this off, it’s Bethenny. The main thing you need for a good talk show is an enthusiastic audience and an arsenal of one-liners. She’ll have both. The new Ricki Lake?
